Bankrupt Line 3 and Stop the Money Pipeline!

Saturday, May 22

Join us for a morning of action on May 22 at Bank of America in Needham

On Saturday, May 22nd the Emergency Everywhere Needham campaign is taking action against Bank of America, one of the banks that is funding the Line 3 pipeline. The Line 3 pipeline is a tar sands pipeline that is being constructed on native Anishinaabe land in northern Minnesota and is currently the focal point for the national environmental movement. It will be one of the largest crude oil pipelines in the continent, carrying nearly 1 million barrels of tar sand (the dirtiest fuel on the planet) per day from Alberta, Canada to Superior WI. This would harm the health and lands of many native people living in proximity, in particular violating U.S. treaty agreements with the Anishinaabe people. Line 3 would contribute to more climate change than Minnesota's entire economy.

We invite you to rally with us at Bank of America from 10am-12pm on Saturday, May 22nd. We encourage you to bring art, posters, music, and speeches. If you would like more information about our campaign or would like to contact the organizers please e-mail rebeccajemmaphillips@gmail.com.
