Letter writing is an important tool in an activist's toolset. Letters are useful for bringing attention to important issues, whether we write them to legislators or local newspapers. Now, as more towns and cities create climate resiliency plans, it is on us to help bring those discussions into the foreground and demand our governments Declare a Climate Emergency. Join us for a workshop on writing letters to the editor and building local Letters to the Editor campaigns within your XR chapter! We will go over organizing a campaign, best practices and strategies for letter writing, and impact.
