Headed for Extinction and What to Do About It

The planet is in ecological crisis: we are in the midst of the sixth mass extinction event this planet has experienced. Scientists believe we may have entered a period of abrupt climate breakdown. This is an emergency.

In this talk, we’ll be doing a deep dive on the science of climate and ecological collapse and why we’re running out of time to stop it, as well as the strategy of nonviolent action we can use to fight back. These two concepts are crucial to understanding why Extinction Rebellion is pursuing radical disruptive action across the globe.
